By booking, authorising, or using any service provided by AutoDoc 4X4 Specialist Ltd ("the Company"), you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1.1 All work is carried out strictly by appointment only.
1.2 A deposit may be required to secure a booking.
1.3 Deposits are non-refundable where:
1.4 Customers must provide accurate vehicle information including registration number, model, engine type, mileage, and a clear description of the fault or work required.
1.5 Incorrect or incomplete information may result in delays, additional charges, or cancellation of the booking.
1.6 No Walk-In Appointments
AutoDoc 4X4 Specialist Ltd operates strictly by appointment only. Customers arriving without a booking may be turned away or asked to book the next available appointment.
2.1 All diagnostic work is chargeable regardless of whether repairs proceed.
2.2 Diagnostic charges apply to each separate fault unless multiple faults are confirmed to be directly related.
2.3 Fault diagnosis is based on symptoms present at the time of inspection.
2.4 Intermittent faults may require additional diagnostic time and repeat visits.
2.5 Additional faults discovered during diagnosis may incur further charges.
2.6 No guarantee is given that all faults will be identified during a single inspection.
3.1 Repair estimates are based on information available at the time of inspection.
3.2 Additional faults, wear, corrosion, hidden damage, seized components, or previous poor-quality repairs discovered during dismantling may require additional labour and parts.
3.3 Any additional work required will be discussed with the customer before proceeding where reasonably possible.
3.4 The Company reserves the right to refuse or discontinue work where repairs are unsafe, uneconomical, impractical, or outside the Company's scope of expertise.
10.1 Parts supplied may include genuine, OEM, aftermarket, reconditioned, or used components.
10.2 Warranty coverage varies depending on the type of part supplied and any manufacturer's warranty provided.
10.3 Used and reconditioned parts carry only the warranty provided by the supplier unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10.4 High-value, special-order, non-returnable, coded, programmed, or manufacturer-ordered parts may require a deposit before ordering.
10.5 Deposits paid towards such parts are non-refundable once the parts have been ordered.
10.6 If repairs are cancelled after parts have been ordered, the customer remains liable for:
10.7 Parts remain the property of AutoDoc 4X4 Specialist Ltd until paid for in full.
11.1 Customers must collect vehicles promptly once notified that work has been completed.
11.2 A 24-hour grace period applies following notification of completion.
11.3 Vehicles remaining on site after the grace period may incur storage charges of £25 per day.
12.1 The Company will make reasonable efforts to contact customers when vehicles are ready for collection.
12.2 Where customers fail to respond to calls, texts, WhatsApp messages, emails, or written correspondence, formal collection notices may be issued.
12.3 Storage charges continue to accrue alongside any outstanding repair, diagnostic, programming, recovery, or other charges.
12.4 Where a vehicle remains uncollected for an extended period, AutoDoc 4X4 Specialist Ltd reserves all rights available under applicable UK law to recover outstanding charges, storage fees, and associated costs.
12.5 Vehicles remain entirely at the owner's risk whilst left on site.
13.1 Payment is due immediately upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing.
13.2 Vehicles will not be released until all outstanding balances have been paid in full.
13.3 AutoDoc 4X4 Specialist Ltd reserves the right to retain possession of a vehicle until all outstanding invoices, storage charges, diagnostic charges, and associated costs have been paid in full.
21.1 AutoDoc 4X4 Specialist Ltd reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
21.2 The latest published version shall apply to all bookings and services.
